There have been many opportunities to experience the most famous meeting places for centuries: theaters and auditoriums. Structures that have profoundly changed their role in the city but still retain the charm of being unique and indispensable spaces for the representation of the collective life of a community. The architectures of the auditoriums designed by Cecchetto&Associati have very different shapes, sizes and locations, to be able to adapt to the characters of the places, landscapes and communities that must host.
At times they were designed as underground architectures, as in Padua in front of the Scrovegni Chapel of Giotto. Sometimes they are floating architectures and auditoriums, which can (unique and unrepeatable) be moved and docked in different parts of the Venice lagoon. Sometimes they are dynamic and experimental spaces, which can host different creative activities and artistic events. Sometimes they are covered squares, which, like in Riva del Garda and Livorno, can be crossed by pedestrian flows generated by the urban context.
