Many projects for the redevelopment and expansion of university, school and research centers, national and international, contribute to the definition of new-generation research spaces with high technological and environmental value, some of which in historical contexts and in constrained buildings of particular value.
The project of the cafeteria and the collective spaces of the University of Trento is worth mentioning. An architecture built around six large cedars that opens towards the park and the city, offering a meeting point and meeting point for residents.
Also the project of reuse of the docks of the Marittima of the historical center of Venice for the University of Ca’ Foscari is conceived as an educational structure at the service of the city: It houses on the ground floor common activities and a cafeteria and on the upper floors of the meeting and exhibition areas, managed by Science Gallery, an international institution present in various university locations.
All other architectural projects for schools and educational spaces, by Cecchetto&Associati, also pursue the same objective: make places and educational buildings opportunities for opening towards the city and meeting with the community of citizens who can use the existing equipment within them such as gyms and cafes.
