This Luxury Wine Resort is a hotel complex immersed in a natural setting for high quality tourism. The project is situated in a world renowned landscape of immense cultural interest. We are in Tuscany, near the coast and the Island of Elba, between hills famous for their wines and forests of Mediterranean pines.
Here architecture and the environment form an indivisible unicum. The buildings seem to grow out of the landscape, replicating the same porosity and patterns of the site and following its undulating contours.
The rooms of the Resort are situated on different levels of volumes
finished in corten steel, winding between the trunks of the pine trees, in search of the best views. The main service volume, the operative heart of the complex, home to the hall and restaurant, follows the contour lines and the northern edge of the forest. All of the buildings feature large windows offering expansive views across the surrounding landscape.
