New headquarters of Banca Santo Stefano in Venice mainland
In the hinterland of Venice, on the mainland, what remains of a small urban nucleus: a church and a building that housed an agricultural factory.
The church, neoclassical, with pilasters and pediment faces the street and enhances access to the area. The building of the bank gathers around a pedestrian area, the ancient courtyard, and houses offices and services for guests and employees. A simple, single-material volume, in rusty corten sheet metal with large windows that open to light and landscape.
